 * General Teaching conditions in Korea *

 

1. Employing Organization : Mostly private foreign-language institutes (Hakwons in Korean)  throughout South Korea

2. Employment Period : Basically one year contract (with renewal option)

3. Monthly Salary : Approximately US$1600 - $2000 per month, depending on the exchange rate

4. Working hours : 6 teaching hours a day / 5 days a week

 

5. Benefits

~Bonus upon the completion of contract(equivalent to one monthly pay)

* Qualifications *

 

1. Native English speakers

   (Citizens of English speaking countries recognized by Korean Immigration Office)

2. Bachelor degree in any field.

3. No teaching experience required.

 

 

* Application Procedures *

        Step 1 : Go to 'Online Application form' on our website and fill out the information. Or send us your resume with a scanned recent photo, and preferences for employment if you have any such as desired starting date, location, and etc, to peoplerecruiting@yahoo.co.kr

        Step 2 : Once we review your application, we will email or call you immediately to confirm that we have received your email and to give you realistic expectations of how soon we expect to place you in a job.

 

        Step 3 : Job screening

 

        Step 4 : You will accept the position and sign the employment contract.

        Step 5 : You will send us the following documents required for the visa process.

                - Original Bachelor's degree or a copy notarized by a Korean consulate

                     - Official transcript (sealed, un-opened)

                     - Signed contract

                     - A copy of your passport

 

        Step 6 : Your Employer will submit your application package to the Korean Immigration Office in Korea to get a visa issuance letter.

 

        Step 7 : The Employer will send you the visa issuance letter issued by the Korean Immigration Office.

 

        Step 8 : You need to bring or mail the letter along with your valid passport to the Korean Consulate Office near by in order to get your visa stamped on your passport.

 

        Step 9 : The Employer will book your flight schedule and buy the ticket for you.

 

        Step 10 : One of our representative or some one from Hakwon will meet you at the airport.
